Nice little spot right there off of 17. I had never eaten here before today I really enjoyed this local fav. It has a simple menu and walk up service. We were served quickly and with a smile! They have ribs Friday and Saturday, but daily feature fresh chopped/pulled pork and brisket. Sides were adequate, but the pulled pork was solid. I sampled a bite of the brisket and found it flavorful, but a little dry. Sauce selection was good, vinegar, mustard, and two versions of tomato.
Little Pigs Bar-B-Q is home to the best pork in Myrtle Beach. The servings are enormous and comes with an exorbitant amount of sides at a reasonable price. I recommend having a sandwich with homemade Rob’s Sauce. The flavors are tremendous and the combination of the pork with Rob’s Sauce is peerless to any other sandwich. It is far superior than other pork restaurants in South Carolina.
Very unassuming, no frills place with food served on styrofoam plates, but that’s how you know it’s gonna be good! The best BBQ I’ve ever had. The brisket was amazing and super tender. Good portions and the sides were great as well. If I lived in the area this would definitely be a regular spot for me.
This is a local, family-run small business. After trying many different BBQ places in the 3 years since we moved to Myrtle Beach, Little Pigs was the best by far. We go every 2-3 weeks. Not once has our food been cold, stale, old, tasteless, etc. Always fresh, always hot. They have 4-5 different sauces to choose from, but I highly recommend their mild house sauce or their mustard base sauce. The iced tea is so good. The family who owns and operates it are so friendly and welcoming. They come out and chat with us when they’re not too busy. I highly recommend you try them!
Had a great meal! I'm a pretty big BBQ guy, I have a full meat shop in my barn. I picked up dinner for our large group, with about a 25 minute drive back to the house. We were very bummed that at 6pm on Friday they were out of ribs and Mac and cheese. So we picked different sides am entrees for the few that were affected. Food was packaged quickly, staff was very nice. Went through the whole order to make sure we got everything. I got the chopped plate, with Robs sauce and beans and cole slaw. I also got some sides of the hot and Lexington sauces to try. I liked Robs sauce, but the Lexington was my favorite. It is very similar to my sauce. I like my pork shredded more than chopped, but it had great flavor so I wasn't really disappointed. Beans were good. Cole slaw was great! We have already decided we will go again next year, but earlier so we can try the ribs.
I didn't want to post about this place because I wanted to keep it a secret. But I think the secret is out. Great little BBQ joint in M.B. The pulled pork was sweet, delicious, and done just right. I wanna go back and try the brisket. Wide variety of sides. And sweet tea (of course). Highly recommended. 2 thumbs
Super neat and clean.walk up service. I had the brisket plate and hubby had pork. Service was fast & friendly and food was delicious! We will come back again on our next vacation
Good food and friendly atmosphere! Had the chopped bbq plate with baked beans and potato salad. Don’t leave out the Banana Pudding! You’ll be sorry if you do! Young lady at the cash register was friendly and welcoming. Check out this local establishment- you’ll be happy you did.
